Warranty Q & A
Q. Why will I be charged an administration fee of $50 for
warranty claims of Shimano components without warranty sticker?
A. All aftermarket XTR, XT, LX, Dura-Ace, Ultegra and 105
components distributed by Kian Hong Cycle are identified by a
silver warranty sticker (see above). The warranty of these
components is fully supported by Kian Hong Cycle and the claims
are free during the warranty period.
For aftermarket components without the stickers, the $50
administration fee and additional charges for replacement parts
are necessary for Kian Hong Cycle to service the warranty claims
of Shimano products that originated from other grey market
sources.
Q. What should I do when making a warranty claim?
A. In the event of a faulty component during the warranty
period, fill out the warranty claim form
[pdf file 104kb] and send in the faulty component together
with a copy of your purchase receipt to bike shop where it is
purchased. The serviced or replacement component will be
returned to you by the same bike shop.
