Forged Carbon bottom bracket |
Bottom bracket is a key part on the frame - the most stressed part
of the frame. Before to kick out material at this part, it is
important to be sure not to lose strength and responsiveness. In
order to solve this equation LOOK has developed a new concept:
forged carbon. The sharp positioning of the fiber and the pressure
process inside the mould save a maximum strength and responsiveness.
The bottom bracket weight is only 130 grs with a rigidity of 170
N/mm while the frame is assembled. |

HSC 5 SL Fork |
100% monobloc carbon fork of 295 gr. World wide exclusivity: The
moulded carbon drop out save a lot of weight. This technology save
some weight while reinforcing the strength at the same time. Using
also Very High modulus carbon fiber save weight. The conical head of
the fork with slides at 36° allows the bearings to fit perfectly.
This concept reinforced the strength at the head section. The ratio
Lightness/lateral rigidity of 15,33 % is so far the best in the
market today. |
