FOX FORK - NEW FOR 2006

The following are the changes in the 2006 line:

FLOAT™ 130 XTT: This fork contains a further evolution of the successful TERRALOGIC™ system, in its new TrailTune (TT) set-up. Compared to the original TERRALOGIC, the XTT system does not differentiate between open and closed/locked out, but between ProPedal™ and Open. Perhaps not as solid under sprinting conditions, the fork nevertheless rides smoothly and efficiently at all times, without remaining in a top-out position during climbs, but accepting a normal, evenly balanced state with sag. The FLOAT 130 XTT sets new standards for Marathon-Enduro type forks.

TALAS™ XTT: Travel Adjust meets TerraLogic. FOX took its two most advanced technologies, TALAS™ and TerraLogic™ and combined them to create the TALAS XTT, giving riders the first travel adjustable, inertia valve trail fork.

TALAS™: For 2006, FOX improved the TALAS system, by making it even easier to adjust travel on the fly, anytime, any ride. The new TALAS three position lever can be adjusted with a quick 90 degree sweep of the lever, setting the fork at 130mm, 110mm or 90mm of travel for 32mm forks and 160mm, 140mm and 120mm for 36mm forks. The TALAS Linear Air Spring rate keeps the spring curve consistent at any travel so your ride is never compromised.

36™: The 36 line receives a new addition, the 36 VAN which will have coil springs and be the new fork of choice for Bike Park people, Dirt Jumpers and anyone else who wants the ultimate in FOX plushness. All 36 forks will increase to 160mm of travel.

DHX Air: The DHX 5.0 damper technology is mated to the legendary FLOAT Air Spring technology to produce the ultimate FreeRide and Downhill shock. The DHX Air reduces the weight for shocks in this category by 50%, compared to an actual DHX shock.

FLOAT™ RP3: This already very successful shock was further developed for 2006 with the goal to more strongly differentiate the 3 ProPedal settings, and to give even more plushness on big and fast bumps.

• All Disc only versions of forks will have the new integrated cable guides. The new integrated disc brake guide takes the hassle out of disc brake cables. The guide will be standard on all 32mm disc only forks as well as all 36 and 40 models.
